How to enjoy Jochberg in summer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hundreds of kilometres of marked trails run around Jochberg, from a short stroll through the village to mountain hikes across the Kitzb\u00fchel Alps. A few tips to get you started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hike \u00b7 85 m waterfall<\/span>

Sintersbach waterfall<\/h3>

The Sintersbach drops 85 metres into natural pools. From the Schradlern car park you get there in about an hour; as a loop via the Jochberger Wildalm and the Drachensteig it is 9.3 km (about 4 hours).<\/p><\/article>

Family walk \u00b7 4.1 km<\/span>

Jochberger Wasserweg<\/h3>

A gentle loop of about 1.5 hours through the village, past old springs, the Vorderk\u00fcnstler farmhouse museum, the Wagst\u00e4ttbahn valley station and the forest pool, and back along the Jochberger Ache.<\/p><\/article>

Mountain hike<\/span>

Jochberger H\u00f6henweg<\/h3>

A high trail with wide views over the southern Kitzb\u00fchel mountains. Ideal for a day up high, without any climbing.<\/p><\/article>

An idyllic open-air pool at the edge of the forest \u2013 a lovely way to cool off after a warm day of hiking.<\/p><\/article>

Up the mountain by bike and lift<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Plenty of mountain bike and e-bike routes run around Kitzb\u00fchel, and several KitzSki cable cars operate in summer too. The KitzSki & Bike Card covers them in summer and winter. For bikes and bike servicing, head to Bikeladl in the village, the summer shop of Schiladl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
